OAIMA is a Non- Government, non-profit motive Agri- input Industry lead Agri - enterprises management organization. Membership of OAIMA consist of private as well as a public Agri Input Manufactures including SSI and MNC’s. OAIMA aims to create and sustain an environment to the growth of Agro Industries in Kerala. Acting as a bridge between industry and government towards agriculture production.

Activities of OAIMA:
  • OAIMA members met on 9/1/2006 at Kottayam decided to give shape for an authentic forum for sustainable agricultural production.
  • Our President participated in the Conference on Agro chemicals to formulate the strategies for globalization & increasing competitiveness of the Indian Agrochemical Industry. Date: January 12-13 Venue: Hotel Le Royal Meridien, Mumbai .
  • OAIMA members met on 19/1/2006 to formulate a definite action plan for agriculture sector.
  • OAIMA members assembled on 20/2/2006 to met Agriculture Minister & other officials of the government of Kerala to discuss the action plan submitted .
  • OAIMA represented Coconut Development Board for their activities regarding Coconut disease management schemes implemented in the State.
  • OAIMA filed a representation against the circular issued by Government of Kerala regarding Bio Pesticides.
  • Our President & Secretary are invited by the Department of Biotechnology for the workshop on plant protection to be held on 12th & 13th of May at Pune.
  • Our President visited higher officials of Ministry of Agriculture and filed representation on the anomalies in CIB Registration, standards of agriculture inputs ,product testing fee, nursery registration & Licencing etc…
  • Now we are happy to receive appreciation letters from Joint secretary, GOI & Director Research KAU on OAIMA activities.
  • OAIMA members met on 17/4/2006 to chalk out an annual programme to be implemented for the sustainable agricultural production .
  • Inaugration of Organic and Agri-Input Manufacturers Association, by the Hon.Minister for Agriculture Mr.Mullakkara Ratnakaran on 2nd July, 2006.
  • OAIMA's concept note on Agricultural Productivity Enhancement of Kerala was presented before Dr.M.S.Swaminathan, renowned Agricultural Scientist on 30th November, 2006 at Kanakakkunnu Palace, Thiruvananthapuram by executive committee members.
  • Our president was invited to participate in Agriculture Summit 2006, held at Vinjan Bhavan, New Delhi with the aim of empowering farmers.
  • OAIMA associated with the 10-day training program on organic Agri Inputs from 9th to 19th October organized by RCOF, Govt of India, at Agri Clinic Research Center, Kottayam. OAIMA deputed 10 delegates from its member zone for the training.
  • An OAIMA TEAM lead by our President met Mr.Guna Vardhanan, IAS Director of Agriculture, on 26/09/06 and requested him to take action for the issue of licences for the production and marketing of organic manures and biofertilizers urgently.
  • OAIMA submitted a proposal on Empowering Plantation Sector to Dr.Jayaram Ramesh, Hon.Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, GOI, on October 2006.
  • Smt.Mini Mathew I.A.S. Chair person, Coconut Development Board, Cochin, released first issue of OAIMA Voice at the Udyogmandal club on 12th October 2006.

  • Our aim is to accelerate Indian Agriculture by giving support to agriculturists & Agri Industries for which Agri entrepreneurs national & international companies shall join hands to share knowledge & experience on a single plat form for win-win solutions and to lead to the great goal of "one voice for one Industry" there by let OAIMA be that great platform for creating.
  • Above all OAIMA shall try to maintain a harmonies atmosphere in the agricultural input manufacturing industy.
  • Harmonies atmosphere among like minded members.
  • The 2nd commitment was filled in the promises of Tata Ralli, on 17/4/06 which resolved to enroll membership from all leading manufactures in the industry. The members participated agreed to take up the responsibility.
The association welcomed the Biofertilizers control order through out by the Government of India gazette date 23/3/06 which of course is a felt need of the fertilizer Industry and decided to our views to the after going through the order in detail.
  • By this time the fact of having registered.
  • OAIMA has been intimated to Govt. of India Govt. of Kerala.
  • Department of Agri, KAU, & commodity board in the State.
  • The Association gave representation to GOI, GOK, DA. Chairman Coconut board on issues pertaining to standard fixations of organic manures, biofertilizers & biopesticides.
